UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: In an apparent case of suicide, a young girl was found hanging from a tree near her house at village Reni in Rehambal area, here today.
According to the reports, Renu (25), daughter of Om Parkash, resident of village Reni, was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances near her house.
The body was spotted by some locals and on being informed, a Police team from Rehambal Police Station reached the spot. Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for post-mortem.
According to Police sources, it was an apparent case of suicide, but cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
Rehambal Police have registered the case and further investigation was going on.
