JAMMU, Nov 6: A lady drug peddler was arrested with 30 grams of heroin-like substance, cash, and an electronic weighing scale from Rajiv Nagar area of the district.
During routine patrolling at Rajiv Nagar (Boot Polish Mohalla), a suspicious woman was intercepted, a police official said.
On being searched, he said, 30 grams of heroin-like substance, some cash, and an electronic weighing scale was recovered from her possession.
The woman, identified as Isha of Boot Polish Mohalla was accordingly arrested and booked in case FIR number 319/2025 under sections 8/21/22/27A of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation taken up, he said.
Pertinently, the entire operation was carried out under the overall guidance of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, with SP City South, Ajay Sharma, SDPO City East, and SHO Bahu Fort in supervisory roles.
