DHSJ assesses performance of health centres in Reasi district

REASI, Nov 13: Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ), Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, conducted a comprehensive visit to district Reasi to review the functioning of health institutions, including Primary Health Centre (PHC) Pouni and NTPHC Ransoo.
During the visit, Dr Zargar interacted with the medical and paramedical staff and took a detailed review of patient care services, availability of essential medicines, and functioning of laboratory and diagnostic facilities. He emphasized on maintaining punctuality, sanitation,and adherence to prescribed treatment protocols to ensure quality healthcare delivery to the public.
Acknowledging the efforts of the health staff in providing services to people in hilly and remote areas, Dr Zargar urged them to continue their work with commitment and compassion. He also directed the concerned officers to ensure regular monitoring of infrastructure works and to strengthen implementation of national health programmes at the grassroots level.
Later, Dr Zargar held a meeting with the Chief Medical Officer and Block Medical Officers of the district, during which various issues related to manpower, infrastructure and service delivery were discussed. He assured full support from the Directorate in addressing local challenges and improving healthcare facilities in the region.
The visit aimed at ensuring that quality healthcare services reach every corner of the district and to motivate the staff towards achieving the goals of equitable health delivery.
