Cleanliness drive organised in Kargil

KARGIL: A cleanliness drive was held by Ladakh Sqay Association and Kargil Pencak Silat Association in Gramthnag Kargil in which more than 50 players, youths and elderly people participated.
Councilor Baroo Minjee Constituency LAHDC Kargil, Ghulam Mehdi Sheikh was the Chief Guest and President Ladakh Sqay Association Kacho Zulfiqar Ali was the Guest of Honour and others present include Mudassir Hussain Wazir Vice President Ladakh Sqay Association and Ali Naqi Sarpanch Goma Minjee.
Kacho Zulfiqar Ali said that this is a part of the series of cleanliness drive initiative of the Association taken in Kargil with a motive to inculcate and educate the children to understand the importance of environment, cleanliness and to reduce the use of plastic in life.
He urged people to reduce the use of polythene and educate others to avoid use of Polythene.
Ghulam Mehdi Sheikh thanking the Ladakh Sqay Association and Kargil Pencak Silat Association for organizing the drive said that with improving physical fitness of the youths it’s a great job to improve the mental and moral fitness of the players and assured all possible help to the association for such noble cause.
