DIG Armed Jammu reviews functioning of Ist Women Battalion

JAMMU, Nov 21: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Armed, Range Jammu, Sameer Sharma today visited the 1st Women Battalion, temporarily headquarters at APC Channi Himmat.
He was greeted by Commandant RC Kotwal, SSP; Vishal Manhas, SP (Deputy Commandant) along with other officers, including DySPs Subash Chander, Anita Katel, Inspectors Javed Akhter, Atul Rakhwal, besides all ranks of the battalion.
During the visit, the DIG reviewed the functioning of the battalion and interacted with the women constables.
Appreciating their professionalism, the DIG Armed Jammu discussed several important points concerning their duties. The interaction also focussed on enhancing efficiency, addressing field challenges, and further strengthening coordination within the unit.
The DIG emphasized maintaining high standards of discipline, commitment, and readiness in all assignments.
He concluded his visit with directions to the staff for improving administrative and operational effectiveness of the battalion.
