RAJOURI, Nov 30: The dead body of a 38-year-old man, was found hanging under mysterious circumstances from a tree, near his home in Mogla area of district Rajouri today.
According to police reports, Rashpal Singh, son of Baliya, resident of Mogla, had left home on Saturday and did not return till late last night. The family searched for him but could not find him. The police was informed about the matter. Later, police party started search and found him hanging from a tree. The police party brought him down, and rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The body was shifted to mortuary where postmortem was conducted today by a team of doctors at the Government Hospital in Kalakote. After completing legal formalities, the police handed over the body to the family. The police have registered a case of death under suspicious circumstances and initiated further investigation.
