YNC Kashmir focuses on youth empowerment

SRINAGAR, Dec 1: The Jammu & Kashmir Youth National Conference today held a provincial-level meeting of its functionaries and office bearers at the party headquarters here.
The meeting was presided over by Provincial president Kashmir YNC, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, and convened by Provincial secretary YNC, Sheikh Ovaise Ahmad.
The session witnessed detailed deliberations on youth-centric issues, organizational strengthening, and upcoming outreach programmes aimed at empowering young voices across Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Mushtaq Mir underscored the crucial role of the youth in shaping the political future of Jammu & Kashmir. “The youth of Kashmir carry immense potential and resilience. Our priority is to create platforms that encourage participation, leadership, and meaningful contribution to public life,” he said.
He added that YNC would continue strengthening its grassroots network to ensure that young people across the province are heard and represented effectively.
Sheikh Ovaise emphasized the need for internal coordination and renewed organizational vigor.
“YNC is committed to nurturing a dynamic and disciplined cadre. Today’s meeting helped us identifying gaps, set new targets and streamline our collective efforts for the months ahead,” he stated.
He further added that sustained engagement with youth at the local level would remain a top priority for the wing.
The meeting concluded with actionable decisions relating to district-level activities, membership drives, training programmes, and youth-oriented advocacy initiatives.
