SRINAGAR, Dec 1: Jammu and Kashmir’s kayaker Mohsin Ali brought laurels to the region by winning one gold and one bronze medal at the Fourth Tehri Water Sports Cup-2025, held at Tehri Lake, Uttarakhand. The competitions were conducted from November 28 to 30.
Mohsin clinched the gold medal in the 1000 mtrs K1 event and a bronze in the 200 mtrs K1 event, showcasing his skill and determination. In addition, he secured fifth place in the International President’s Cup-2025, further highlighting his growing stature in competitive kayaking.
International canoeing star and former Indian national canoeing coach Bilquis Mir lauded Mohsin’s achievements, saying, “Congratulations, Mohsin. Your participation in the President’s Cup and medal-winning performance at the Tehri Cup is a proud moment for all. This success will boost your confidence and propel you further in your sporting journey.”
