JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has convened Cabinet meeting here tomorrow, with the long-pending reservation policy emerging as the central agenda.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM at the Chief Minister’s Jammu residence and is expected to witness detailed deliberations on multiple governance and administrative matters.
According to official sources, one of the key proposals likely to come up for discussion is the enhancement of the quota for Open Merit candidates in government jobs and educational institutions.
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, along with senior Cabinet Ministers Sakina Itoo, Javed Dar, Javid Rana and Satish Sharma, are expected to be present at the meeting.
