JKCA announces 15-member squad for U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy

JAMMU, Dec 2: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has officially announced its 15-member squad for the U-16 Boys’ Vijay Merchant Trophy, scheduled to compete against Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
The selected squad is led by captain Smagey Khajuria, with Hadi Amin appointed as vice-captain. The team roster includes promising young talents namely Kamran Singh, Arsalan Nayak, Adnan Manzoor, Swaransh Dogra, Jaskaran Singh, Aksh Sharma, Hammad Firdous, Sanil Singh, Athrav Sharma, Rajveer Manhas, Tariq Nabi, Harinder Singh, and Rigav Anand.
Providing experienced guidance off the field, the team will be coached and managed by a proficient support staff. Former first-class cricketer Sameer Khajuria takes charge as Head Coach, supported by Coach Muzaffar Mattoo. Team management comprises Manager Shashi Kumar and Manager Sheikh Suhail. Fitness and wellbeing will be overseen by Trainer Amit Bargotra and Physiotherapist Karan Nayyar.
The JKCA and squad members eagerly anticipate a competitive and spirited campaign in the prestigious Vijay Merchant Trophy, showcasing the region’s commitment to nurturing young cricketing talent.
