JAMMU, Dec 6: After rigorous selection trials and screening by the J&K Sports Council, an 18-member team has been finalized to represent the Union Territory at the Senior National Judo Championship to be held at Imphal, Manipur, from December 11 to 15.
The selected players are Manya, Khushi Thakur, Tamleek Shah, Yashika Jamwal, Talha Fayaz, Upasana Sharma, Anshika Sharma, Tanvi Thakur, Anmol Devi, Eshaan Saini, Vir Bhadra Singh, Akshay Sharma, Vipul Yashovardhan, Shivam Sharma, Rajat Singh Chib, Farhat Gulzar, Danish Sharma and Inayat Ullah Khan Khatana.
The team was presented along with Krupali Singh (Manager, New Indoor Complex MA Stadium, Jammu), Vikas Dogra (Senior Judo Coach), Suraj Sharma (Hony Gen. Secy), Manish Chatwal and Joginder, highlighting the collective effort in preparing the athletes for national-level competition.
