Presentation Convent holds exhibition

JAMMU, Dec 8: Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, organized EduVerse – The Universe of Learning, a impressive inter-disciplinary exhibition held in commemoration of 250 years of the legacy of Nano Nagle, the revered Founder of Presentation Congregation.
The programme began with a warm welcome extended to Miriam Attel, School Manager; Amelina Rodrigues, Principal; and the adjudicators-Prof Pankaj K Srivastava, Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education; Dr Arti Sharma, Professor of Horticulture, SKUAST and Dr Shubhra Jamwal, Senior Assistant Professor of English, Government College of Education and Assistant Dean, Cluster University of Jammu.
A serene floating-candle ceremony symbolized the light of knowledge illuminating all disciplines. This was followed by a soulful prayer dance and a powerful enactment on the life of Nano Nagle, highlighting her courage, compassion and mission to educate the underprivileged. The performance beautifully revived the spirit of the “Lady with the Lantern,” whose legacy continues to inspire the Presentation family.
The exhibition showcased creativity of students from Classes VI to VIII through exhibits in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer, Art and Sports. Students also presented displays on Nano Nagle’s mission and cultural themes representing Gujarat and Jammu, celebrating curiosity, innovation and holistic learning.
