JAMMU, Dec 21: Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla Road, New Delhi conducted a free heart check-up camp at Gurudwara Tapo Asthan, Akhnoor today.
The camp was led by Dr Swati Mahajan (MD, DM – Cardiology), Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. During the camp, more than 100 patients with heart-related concerns were screened and examined.
Comprehensive health services including blood sugar testing, ECG, blood pressure check-ups, medical consultation, and free medicines were provided to all attendees. The initiative aimed at early detection and prevention of cardiovascular diseases among the local population.
The camp drew enthusiastic participation from residents of Akhnoor and adjoining areas. Local community members and prominent citizens acknowledged the humanitarian initiative of Dr Swati Mahajan and her dedicated medical team in extending quality cardiac care services free of cost to the people.
