DSEK directs for timely disposal cases

Srinagar, Dec 22: The Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmad Wani, today said that the timely disposal of files and cases was his foremost priority.
He made it clear that no delay would be tolerated due to avoidable or unnecessary reasons.
Wani was speaking while chairing a review meeting of all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the Kashmir Division at the Directorate of School Education Kashmir to assess the functioning and progress of the School Education Department.

During the meeting, the DSEK issued firm directions on key administrative and academic issues, including matters related to teaching and non-teaching staff, training programmes, inspection and monitoring mechanisms, accounts, planning, and overall departmental performance.
The DSEK also reviewed the status of audits, expenditure patterns, Apex and Revex budgets, and other financial matters.
He directed the concerned officers to ensure smooth execution of approved works, proper utilisation of funds, and strict adherence to financial norms within stipulated timelines.
The meeting was attended by Joint Directors Syed Shabir Ahmad, Kishore Kumar and Muhammad Mushtaq, Personnel Officer DSEK Dr Iqbal Hussain Mir, Chief Accounts Officer Zahoor Ahmad Khanday, all Chief Education Officers of the Kashmir Division, and other senior officials of the department.
