BHADERWAH, Dec 25: A deputation of Bhaderwah Beopar Mandal (BBM) led by its president, Naseer Mehboob here today met MLA Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar and raised demands related to administrative accessibility and public convenience.
During interaction, the Beopar Mandal submitted a detailed representation to the MLA, demanding convergence of various government departments into a single secretariat by utilising the old hospital building. The traders highlighted that key offices, including Irrigation, ICDS, Social Welfare, ADC office, Tehsil and other allied departments, were functioning from different locations, causing inconvenience to the general public.
The deputation members pointed out that the residents were compelled to move from one corner of the township to another to avail basic services leading to wastage of time and unnecessary hardship, particularly for the elderly and women.
They stressed that a centralised secretariat would ensure better coordination among departments and would provide easier and doorstep access to the services for public.
The MLA assured that the proposal would be examined seriously and will be taken up with the concerned departments for appropriate action.
