UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: Panic gripped the ever busy Dhar Road area when an unclaimed bag was found near District Hospital Udhampur, here today.
After receiving information in this regard, a team from Police Station Udhampur rushed to the spot with a bomb disposal squad and cordoned off the area.
The team examined the bag, which revealed nothing untoward. Only clothes and others items were found in the bag. After some time, owner of the bag, identified as Rakesh Singh, approached the Police Station Udhampur and the bag was handed over to him.
