BISHNAH, Dec 29 : Strengthening the local infrastructure and honoring the spiritual heritage of the region, MLA Dr Rajeev Kumar Bhagat today inaugurated the newly constructed Community Facilitation Centre (CFC) at the revered Kanjak Devi Sthan, Sultanpur, located within Panchayat Sehora-B, Block Bishnah.
The establishment of this center is seen as a major step toward providing better amenities for the thousands of devotees who visit the shrine annually.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bhagat emphasized the Government’s commitment to developing religious and community hubs.
He said, “Kanjak Devi Sthan is not just a place of worship but a symbol of hope and healing for many. By providing this Community Facilitation Centre, we aim to ensure that every visitor experiences comfort and dignity.”
Earlier, the MLA paid obeisance at the Kanjak Devi Sthan, seeking blessings for the prosperity of his constituency.
The shrine holds immense cultural and religious significance, particularly known for the deep faith devotees have in its powers to heal skin diseases.
People from all walks of life visit the Sthan throughout the year, making the need for a dedicated facilitation center a long-standing demand.
The local community expressed their gratitude to the MLA for the timely completion of the project, which is expected to serve as a multipurpose venue for community gatherings and pilgrim support.
Among others who witnessed the event included Vijay Saini, Meena Kumari, Surjeet Singh (Neta), Surjeet Singh (Sonu), Surinder Singh Bubby, Bishan Das Kerni, Chaman Lal, Dwarka Nath Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Lucky Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Satish Sharma and Dr Ajeet Kumar.
