JAMMU, Dec 30: In the second semi-final of the 19th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2025 at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, here today J&K Bank XI secured a commanding 5-2 win over Star FC Srinagar.
Star FC Srinagar initially took the lead in the 30th minute through Izaan, but J&K Bank XI bounced back with goals from Akif (49’) and Furkaan (52’). Star FC’s Salim narrowed the gap in the 59th minute, but J&K Bank XI sealed the match with three additional goals in the 72nd, 75th, and 80th minutes.
The match was officiated by referees Bilal Ahmed, Satnam Singh, Romesh Kumar, and Deeraj Menia. The closing ceremony was graced by Advocate Zeshan Rana, Sandeep Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Ramesh Chander, Satnam Singh, David Masih, Peter Sodagar, Kamaljeet, Amardeep Singh, Showkat Khanyari, and Mohd Shuja, who applauded the players’ performance. The final will be played between J&K Bank XI and J&K Police XI.
