JAMMU, Dec 31: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, J&K Government, has enjoined upon all the enrolled notaries to submit their annual return pertaining to the year 2025 within a period of seven days.
According to a circular in this regard, the notaries, who have been not submitted their annual return, must submit the same by January 7, 2026, failing which action as warranted under rules shall be initiated.
As per rule(14) of the Notaries Rules, 1956, every notary, shall in the first week of January every month, submit to the appropriate Government, an annual return online Form -XIV of the notarial acts done by him during the preceding year.
