JAMMU, Jan 1: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF Jammu and Kashmir met here today under the chairmanship of AG Mir, DGP and Commandant General, and conducted the DPC for 3 Sub Inspectors, 6 Assistant Sub Inspectors, 18 Head Constables and 20 Selection Grade Constables.
Following the meeting, formal promotion orders were issued promoting 2 Assistant Sub Inspectors to the rank of Sub Inspector, 5 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector and 5 Selection Grade Constables to the rank of Head Constable. The promotions were cleared on the eve of New Year 2026.
The Commandant General Homeguards, Civil Defence & SDRF J&K, AG Mir, congratulated all the promotees and extended best wishes to them and their families on their promotions.
