JAMMU, Jan 2: As part of its pledge to rid J&K of illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit here today launched the campaign ‘Mai Bhartiya-Mera Bharat Mahan’.
Under this campaign, a team of Shiv Sena leaders led by their J&K chief, Manish Sahni, checked Aadhaar Cards and other identity documents of suspected individuals, including street vendors at Indira Chowk, Bus Stand and Dogra Chowk in Jammu.

“If no identity document is found from the vendors, the information is shared with the concerned Police Station for appropriate legal action and if identification is found correct, then ‘Mai Bhartiya-Mera Bharat Mahan’ stickers are pasted on the stalls and carts of the vendors,” Sahni said.
He claimed that a number of Bangladeshi and Rohingyas are illegally staying in J&K posing a serious threat to the internal security of the country.
Sahni appealed to the general public to cooperate and share relevant information in this regard.
Vikas Bakshi, Sanjeev Kohli, Raj Singh, Raju Kapoor, Aditya Mahajan, Jasbir Singh, Deeraj Kohli and many others were also present on the occasion.
