REASI, Jan 3: A young woman died while her husband sustained critical injuries when their scooty was hit by a Dumper on the Pouni-Reasi Road.
The accident took place near Thanda Paani, in which the dumper bearing registration number JK02CT- 9722 hit the scooter JK14B- 1454, resulting into serious injuries to the couple riding the scooter. Click here to watch video
Both the husband and wife were rushed to PHC Pouni where the woman, namely Bimla Devi, aged 32 years, wife of Hem Raj, resident of Dadooa, tehsil Pouni, district Reasi, was declared as brought dead.
Her husband, Hem Raj, aged 45 years, son of Bana Ram, was later referred to District Hospital Reasi for better treatment. Police reached the spot and started investigation in this regard.
