JKTF accuses authorities of adopting delaying tactics over teachers’ issues

JAMMU, Jan 8: An extraordinary meeting of the Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) was held today at Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, under the leadership of its Chairman, Mohd Shafi Rather, and the patronage of Chief Patron Ganesh Khajuria.
The meet expressed serious concern and anguish over the delaying tactics adopted by the authorities in resolving the long-pending genuine issues of teachers. Addressing the gathering, Ganesh Khajuria stressed the importance of fostering a strong and cemented bond between the leadership of Jammu and Kashmir divisions to further strengthen JKTF.
Chairman Mohd Shafi Rather highlighted the issues and demands, which include; pending liabilities of GPF, SLI, and retirement benefits, ATD issue in Jammu Division, grant of DDO powers for Jammu Division, pending salary budget for Jammu Division, promotions of all cadres across the UT of Jammu & Kashmir, transition issues of Teacher Grade-II and Teacher Grade-II.
The prominent leaders who were part of the meeting included Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Gopal Singh, Jamayat Ali Agah, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Kuldeep Raj Verma, P D Singh, Gautam Singh, Subash Singh Jamwal, Pawan Sharma, P D Singh, Gautam Singh, Pawan Sharma, Pardeep Singh Kotwal, Anees Wani, Jatinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Bishan Sharma, Sanjay Sudan , Devinder Singh, Kapil Sagotra, Ashwani Raina, Rashpal Dass, K D Manhas, Mohinder Singh, Dharam Pal Sharma, Puran Chand Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Mohinder Singh, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Rajinder Singh, and others.
