JAMMU, Jan 10: Federation of Industries, Jammu (FOIJ) today proposes suggestions to the Government to be included in the Industrial Policy 2021-30.
Ina meeting of the FOIJ held here today under the leadership of its Chairman Virendra Jain and attended by its Co-Chairmen Jatinder Aul, Lalit Mahajan, SC Dutta, among others, the members deliberated on the suggestions/amendments on new incentive proposed to be included in the J&K Industrial Policy 2021-30.
FOIJ said that adequate budgetary support should be provided for reimbursement of all the Fiscal Incentives in time bound manner. Substantial expansion should always be deemed to include or separately listed if so required; enhancement in capacity and substantial expansion in conventional term; change of line/additional line of manufacturing/additional product and modernization, diversification or technical up-gradation.
Federation pleaded to include unattended incentives in the proposed list up to the expiry of Industrial Policy 2021-30 viz; Turnover Incentives, working capital subversion, marketing suggested and development and promotion anciliarisation. They sought marketing support to the local Micro/Small units.
They sought grant of IGST refund on value addition for Interstate sale for existing working units prior to 31.03.2021 whose reimbursement of IGST Package is valid up to March 2027. They further sought increase on Solar Power system subsidy by 50% and up to Rs 50 lakhs, exemption of stamp duty on court fee and suggested that all the renewals of lease deeds, change in constitution, mergers, supplementary lease deeds should also be extended, the exemption from Stamp Duty and Court fee.
Subsidy be extended to all formats of Pollution Control devices including STP/ETP and 100% subsidy on purchase and installation of one or more DG sets, within the approved capacity be provided.
FOIJ suggested that there should be single approval certificate for MSME’s. The incentive should be applicable for all existing/new units for all purposes. J&K Govt should demise separate Industrial Policy exclusively for Mega Projects with separate budgetary provisions. Negative list in any format should be as per NCSS classification only. All legal documents attested by Notary be accepted instead of Judicial/ Executive Magistrate.
