JAMMU, Jan 12: Gymnasts Rivka Bansal and Sadhya Sharma of KC Public School delivered impressive performances in the Under-17 girls artistic gymnastics event at the UT Gymnastics Championship, held at the Gymnastics Hall, Indoor Stadium, Jammu.
The championship was organized by the Gymnastics Association of Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of the Gymnastics Federation of India and the J&K Sports Council, witnessing participation from top gymnasts across the Union Territory. Rivka Bansal, a consistent performer, earlier won two gold medals at the district level and two gold medals at the UT level, earning the title of Best Gymnast in her category. Sadhya Sharma showcased excellent skill by securing two bronze medals at the district level and one bronze medal at the UT level.
Both gymnasts have qualified to represent J&K in the National Gymnastics Championship. Chairman Raju Chowdhary, MD Arti Chowdhary, Vice Chairman Arjun Chowdhary and Principal A.K. Mishra congratulated the players and wished them success at the national level.
