CBC organises workshop on Hindi Rajbhasha

JAMMU, Jan 12: With the objective of promoting the effective use of Hindi in official work, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, GoI organised a workshop on Hindi Rajbhasha, here today.
The programme was chaired by Ghulam Abbas, Director, CBC J&K & Ladakh,
Ayushi Puri, Deputy Director, O P Mauriya, administrative officer and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
During the event, a warm farewell was accorded to Ashwani Gupta, senior Accounts Officer, on his transfer to another department.
The resource person for the workshop, Chandan Kumar, senior Accounts Officer, CRPF, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the importance of Hindi as Rajbhasha.
He elaborated on practical methods to enhance the use of Hindi in day-to-day official work.
Addressing the gathering, Ghulam Abbas emphasised the significance of Hindi and its consistent usage in official functioning.
He also extended his best wishes to the outgoing Ashwani Gupta, for his future endeavours.
In her address, Ayushi Puri stated that the use of Hindi has increased considerably in the office and expressed confidence that the organisation would soon achieve a higher level of official work in Hindi.
O P Mauriya highlighted the achievements of the office in implementing Hindi in official correspondence and documentation.
The programme also featured cultural presentations by CBC Jammu’s departmental artists.
The event concluded with light refreshments.
