JAMMU, Jan 16: The J&K UT Qwan Ki Do Championship 2025-26 concluded at Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, here today. The two-day Championship was organized by the Qwan Ki Do Association of J&K under the aegis of the Qwan Ki Do Federation of India and was held from January 15 to 16.
The closing ceremony was graced by Syed Ashiq Hussain as the chief guest, while Bashir Ahmed and Anees attended as guests of honour. The dignitaries lauded the organizers for their dedicated efforts in promoting martial arts and motivating youth participation in sports across the Union Territory.
Nearly 150 players from different districts of J&K UT took part in the Championship, displaying commendable skill, discipline and sportsmanship throughout the competition. The medal winners will represent J&K UT in the forthcoming 7th National Qwan Ki Do Championships 2025-26. The organizers expressed gratitude to officials, coaches, referees and volunteers, parents and sports authorities for their support in making the event a grand success.
