RAMBAN, Jan 17: The 8th Ramban District Badminton Championship 2025-26 concluded today. Organized by the District Ramban Badminton Association in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, the championship saw participation from around 60 players across the district.
In the Under-19 category, Nitin Singh won the boys’ title, while Kajal Devi claimed the girls’ trophy. The Under-17 winners were Osma (boys) and Tanvi Katoch (girls), while in the Under-14 category, Usman and Sheetal Devi emerged victorious in boys’ and girls’ sections respectively.
Disha Committee Member Rajinder Singh honoured the winners and runners-up, emphasizing the importance of such competitions to nurture local talent. The event was attended by Raj Kumar Anand, Pooja Dogra, Devinder Singh, Samta Devi, technical officials, players and other guests.
