JAMMU, Jan 18: A grand Hindu Sammelan was organized today at Badyal Brahmana in R S Pura, bringing together saints, social activists and a large number of local residents to deliberate on issues of social harmony, cultural awareness and collective responsibility.
The event was organized under the guidance of Akshay (pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), along with Sant Narendra Das, Sant Radhe Radhe and Preeti Chaudhary, who heads the Shakti Udghosh Foundation. The Sammelan witnessed enthusiastic participation from people across age groups, reflecting strong community involvement and commitment.
The programme was meticulously organized by Mitra Pal, with co-organizers Teerath Ram, Balkrishna Lal, Sohan Lal and Ramesh Kumar, and other prominent personalities of Badyal Brahmana.
Addressing the gathering, Akshay delivered an impactful address on the relevance of unity, discipline, and moral values in contemporary society. He emphasized that Hindu Sammelans serve as important forums to reconnect people with their cultural roots while encouraging responsible citizenship.
Sant Narendra Das and Sant Radhe Radhe spoke on the importance of spiritual awakening, compassion, and harmony. They reminded the gathering that spiritual values provide the foundation for a peaceful and balanced society.
Preeti Chaudhary highlighted the role of social organizations in empowering communities, especially women and youth. She added that collective cultural initiatives play a significant role in building confidence, leadership qualities, and social sensitivity among young people.
Attendees reaffirmed their resolve to work towards social harmony, cultural preservation, and the collective progress of society, carrying forward the message of unity, service, and shared responsibility.
