DODA, Jan 16: The District Doda Ball Badminton Championship 2025-26, organized by District Doda Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, concluded at Iqra International School, Bhaderwah. The two-day tournament held under “My Youth My Pride” initiative of J&K Sports Council, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 12 teams comprising over 120 players from schools, colleges, institutions and clubs across district Doda.
The closing ceremony was graced by Sheikh Imran, political leader of J&K, as chief guest, along with Raju, Manager, Sports Stadium Doda and Arshid Rasheed Ganie, Organizing Secretary, and other officials as Guests of Honour. Medals were presented to the winning and runner-up teams in a ceremony that celebrated talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Appreciating the players, Sheikh Imran encouraged them to focus on their game and strive to bring laurels to J&K.
