JAMMU, Jan 21: Government has ordered a comprehensive inquiry into allegations levelled against three officials of the Designs, Inspections and Control (DI&C) Department of the Public Works (R&B) Department, Jammu.
As per Government order in this regard, issued by PW(R&B) Department, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Engineer-in-Chief, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to conduct a detailed and time-bound probe into the allegations against Pankaj Gupta, Junior Assistant; Kewal Krishan, Senior Assistant; and Ashok Raina, Senior Assistant, all posted in the DI&C Department, Jammu.
The Inquiry Officer has been directed to submit a detailed report along with specific recommendations within a period of 15 days. Kuldeep Kumar, Accounts Officer, DI&C Department, Jammu, has been appointed as the Presenting Officer in the inquiry proceedings.
It has also been ordered that during the pendency of the inquiry, the three officials under probe shall remain attached with the office of the Engineer-in-Chief until further orders.
