JAMMU: Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Jammu, president Arun Gupta honoured Sanskrit scholar, social reformer and president of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Mahant Rohit Shastri for his achievements in the field of Sanskrit language.
On this occasion, Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Jammu, president Arun Gupta presented a certificate as a sign of memento to inspire Mahant to continue his activities in the field of Sanskrit.
CCI Jammu president Arun Gupta said Mahant Rohit Shastri is promoting Devvani Sanskrit in the state every day.
He has written many books and many of his articles have been published in magazines. He publishes and edits ‘Kaliakh Sandesh Panchang Calendar’ every year and distributes it free of cost.
Mahant Rohit Shastri has played his special role in the upliftment of the society by doing the important work of taking Sanskrit language and Indian culture to people.
He has been honored by the Governor, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha members and eminent public representatives for his unprecedented contribution in various social and cultural works.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Jammu, president Arun Gupta said if we talk about the contribution of youth in the efforts being made for Devvani Sanskrit in Jammu and Kashmir, then one name comes in front of us in the most powerful form.
And that name is young Sanskritist of Jammu, dedicated to the promotion of Devvani Sanskrit, Jyotishacharya Mahant Rohit Shastri. The discussion of Sanskrit or culture is incomplete without mentioning Rohit Shastri, who was devoted to Sanskrit language and Indian culture in the twenty-first century.
