RAJOURI, Feb 3: Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Anantnag–Rajouri constituency, Mian Altaf Ahmed, during his recent visit to Rajouri district, toured several villages and held extensive interactions with local residents to understand their issues and concerns.
During the visit, the MP patiently listened to public grievances related to development, infrastructure, basic amenities, and other civic issues. He assured the people that their genuine demands would be taken up at the appropriate forums and levels for early and effective redressal.
Mian Altaf reiterated his firm commitment to the overall development of Rajouri and Poonch districts and stated that he is regularly visiting these areas to closely monitor ongoing developmental works. He emphasized that consistent field visits help ensure transparency, quality execution, and timely completion of projects.
The MP further said that development of border and remote areas remains a top priority and that he is actively coordinating with concerned departments to accelerate progress and address public needs.
The visit was appreciated by the local populace, who expressed hope that their long-pending issues would now receive due attention.
