New Delhi, Feb 5: India delivered an impressive performance at the 10m Asian Pistol Championship held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, with participation from 19 Asian countries. SS Sodhi, Governing Body Member and President of the Jammu & Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA), attended as chief guest and felicitated the medal winners.
Sodhi congratulated the athletes and emphasized that disciplined training, competitive exposure, and institutional support are key to nurturing world-class shooters. The championship also showcased the role of the National Rifle Association of India, under Secretary General Pawan Singh, in developing shooters nationwide. In J&K, JKRA continues to train promising talent, with performers like Aneesha Sharma exemplifying the region’s steady progress in national and international shooting competitions.
