JAMMU, Feb 7: Heritage School organised an educational visit to the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu as part of PRAGYAAN 2026, the institute’s flagship outreach and innovation event. A group of 55 students from Classes IX and XI, accompanied by science faculty members, participated in the visit aimed at familiarising them with higher education, research and technological innovation.
A major attraction was the painting competition “The Open Palette”, where students showcased their creativity and imagination in an inspiring academic setting. Students also interacted with IITians, gaining insights into academic life at IIT, career opportunities in science and technology and the importance of innovation, dedication and perseverance.
The visit featured a robotics demonstration titled “The Boxing Bot”, offering a glimpse into practical engineering applications. Students further explored stalls and exhibits displaying innovative projects and research work by IIT Jammu students. The visit proved to be an enriching and motivating experience, reinforcing Heritage School’s commitment to experiential learning.
