JAMMU, Feb 7: The Cycling Association of Jammu & Kashmir (CAJK) has selected cyclists to represent Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir in the 22nd National MTB Cycling Championship for Senior, Junior, Sub-Junior and Under-14 Boys and Girls categories. The championship will be held from February 12 to 15, 2026 at Roing, Arunachal Pradesh.
The selected cyclists include Ulfat Mustaq and Mehak Mustaq in the Senior Women category; Mohammed Tahir Mir and Shahid Mushtaq in the Junior Men category; Aryan Verma in the Sub-Junior category and Muqeet Hussain Masoodi and Malik Zehran Farooq in the Under-14 Boys category.
The selection and screening trials were conducted at MA Stadium, Jammu, under the supervision of Iqbal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer (DSO), Jammu, J&K Sports Council. The trials were supported by Joginder Kumar.
The selection process was carried out in the presence of senior office bearers of CAJK, including Om Parkash Sharma, General Secretary and S S Gill, Chief Coordinator.
