JAMMU, Feb 9: Amidst the likelihood of early Municipal and Panchayat elections in JKUT, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has decided to intensify its membership and public outreach campaign.
During a meeting held at the party office on Monday, the party president, Darshan Rana, instructed the district presidents to accelerate the membership and public relations campaign at the assembly constituency level and connect with as many people as possible. He specifically directed the party district presidents to intensify the public outreach campaign in the RS Pura, Jammu South, and Bishnah assembly constituencies.
Rana said there is a strong possibility of holding Municipal and Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir this year. The BSP has decided that through these elections, the party will strengthen its base in both rural and urban areas. He instructed the party district heads and other office bearers to connect with as many people as possible in view of these elections and to accelerate the public relations and membership drive. He asked the party office bearers to reach out to the people and seriously address public interest issues. Other party leaders also shared their views during the meeting.
