NEW DELHI, Feb 15: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Delhi Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 72 AGMUT Cadre IAS officers across various departments. Among them are six officers from the Jammu and Kashmir segment who are either already serving in Delhi or are set to move from Jammu and Kashmir to take up key assignments in the national capital.
As per an order, Bipul Pathak, the 1992 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, presently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Social Welfare) and holding the additional charge of Director (UTCS), has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Social Welfare), while continuing to hold the additional charges of Director (UTCS) and Additional Chief Secretary (SC/ST/OBC).
Pathak earlier served in Jammu and Kashmir in important positions, including Director General of the J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development.
Similarly, Santosh D Vaidya, the 1998 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, presently serving as Principal Secretary (Finance) in Jammu and Kashmir, on joining GNCTD, has been posted as Principal Secretary (Home) with additional charge of Principal Secretary (Finance/Planning), Principal Secretary (Industries) and Chairperson, DSIIDC.
He has also served as Principal Secretary, Home Department, in the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
In another key move, Pandurang K Pole, the 2004 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, currently serving as Secretary (Higher Education & TTE) with additional charge of Secretary (Education), has been posted as Secretary (GAD) with additional charge of Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Labour) and Secretary (Cooperation).
In Jammu and Kashmir, he has earlier served as CEO J&K, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, and Deputy Commissioner Udhampur.
Further, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, the 2005 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, presently serving as Secretary (Urban Development) with additional charge of Secretary (Environment & Forests), has been posted as Secretary (Urban Development) with additional charge of Secretary (Environment & Forests) and Chairman (DPCC).
He earlier served as Commissioner Secretary to the Jammu and Kashmir Government, Revenue Department, and as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Niraj Kumar, the 2010 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Special Secretary (SC/ST/OBC).
He previously served as Administrative Secretary Transport Department, Administrative Secretary Public Grievances, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, and Deputy Commissioner Udhampur. Saloni Rai, the 2016 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, currently serving as DC Udhampur, on joining GNCTD, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate (North), GNCTD.
