NEW DELHI, Feb 18 : Auto maker Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) today announced the launch of the All-New Nissan Gravite at an attractive starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh.
The bold and game-changing 7-seater MPV Gravite marks the beginning of a new chapter in Nissan’s journey in India. Inspired by India, the Made in India Gravite is the first product in Nissan Motor India’s latest product offensive in India. It reflects the company’s strong commitment and presence in India.
The model name, Gravite, is inspired by India’s 1.4 billion people and the 19,000 languages and customs that shape the nation’s diversity.
Gravite has been specifically designed to meet the changing aspirations of Indian families. It combines space, versatility, comfort, and everyday practicality with a strong road presence, said a spokesman of the company.
Thierry Sabag, Divisional Vice President, Nissan & Infiniti, and President, Middle East, KSA, CIS & India, said, “India is at the heart of Nissan’s global ambitions. Our efforts over the past year to strengthen operations, expand our network, and launch a product offensive demonstrate our long-term commitment to this market. With our local manufacturing with our alliance partner in Chennai and a future-ready product roadmap, we are poised to compete, grow, and lead in this important segment.”
Saurabh Vats, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “The all-new Nissan Gravite is inspired by the diversity, scale, and ambition of Indian families. From its modular seating to its commanding stance, every aspect reflects how Indian customers live, travel, and thrive together.”
The second significant model in Nissan’s new portfolio, the All New Gravite is a significant step towards revitalising the brand’s products in India.
Building on the momentum of the New Nissan Magnite exported from India and with the local support of the expanding dealer network in network cities, the Gravite is set to strengthen the foundation for the company’s continued growth in India.
