APS BD Bari’s Balvatika holds Annual Day

SAMBA, Feb 18: Army Public School BD Bari celebrated the second day of its Annual Day for the Foundational Wing with great enthusiasm at Samba. The event, themed “Carnival of the Festivals,” beautifully highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage and unity in diversity. The programme was organised under the leadership of Principal Dr Neeta Rawal.
The celebration was graced by chief guest Brig Naveen D Prabhu, Chairman of the school. The event began with a vibrant welcome song, setting a festive tone. Headmistress Priya Charak, in her address, underscored the importance of foundational education and appreciated the dedication of teachers in nurturing young learners.
The Balvatika students captivated the audience with colourful performances depicting the journey of Lord Rama, the joy of Onam, energetic Dandiya, the brilliance of Diwali and the harmony of Eid. Their confidence and coordination earned loud applause.
During the felicitation ceremony, Brig Prabhu honoured students for excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. In his address, he stressed the importance of moral values, disciplined conduct, parental involvement, and regulated screen time for holistic development.
