POONCH, Feb 19: Senior BJP leader and former MLC Vibodh Gupta today conducted a workshop in Poonch under the banner of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan-2026. The programme served as a comprehensive session focused on strengthening ideological clarity and reinforcing organizational discipline among the party’s grassroots cadre.
Addressing a gathering of party workers, Vibodh emphasized that BJP envisions a strong, self-reliant, inclusive, and culturally rooted India, guided by the ideals of nation first, good governance, and integral humanism. The party leaders are committed to build a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) that is prosperous, secure, just, and globally respected, while preserving India’s civilizational values, he added.
Vibodh reiterated that the party’s core philosophy is rooted in the upliftment of the most marginalized – the “last person in the row.” He stressed the importance of bridging the gap between governance and citizens through decentralized efforts, responsive engagement, and empathetic local leadership, ensuring that development and welfare reach every section of society.
He said that programmes like the Prashikshan Mahabhiyan play a crucial role in equipping workers with clarity of purpose, organisational skills, and a deeper understanding of public issues, enabling them to effectively address local challenges in areas like Poonch and beyond, while reinforcing the party’s connect with the grassroots.

Such structured training programmes enhance organizational efficiency and enable workers to better understand grassroots concerns.
During the session, District president Gurudeep Singh discussed that such workshop reflects the BJP’s unwavering commitment to organizational strengthening and cadre development.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Raina said that the workshop provided a valuable platform for dialogue, feedback, and strategic planning to address local challenges more effectively.
