The women of the present century compared with those of the past, differ in a great many ways. Those of today have more advantages for getting an education, and good situations in life, than those of other times. The reason is that they are educated, self dependent and handling many things alone. In today’s era, an occupation of management is considered as a qualified status and surprisingly every woman is wonderfully embedded with this talent.
The Wikipedia defines housewife as ‘a woman whose main occupation is running or managing the family’s home.’ Whereas, Career-oriented means someone who focuses more on their satisfaction with the job they are in. That will increase their success in the career of their choice! They utilse the expertise in that particular and get paid for it. When women can manage and run, within their comfort zone, with high level of management, organization and administration, is there a need for them to get into the labor market? Of course there are exceptions; when money is the need for their survival or for occupations which demand women workers. Women have the right to work and can work in an ethical environment, but their market-job must not be given preference over their job of being a home-maker.
According to a survey conducted by Health, Labour and Welfare Ministry in Japan, 1 out of 3 young Women just want to get married and become full-time housewife. The poll which quizzed more than 3,000 people aged 15-39, revealed that 34 per cent of unmarried women did not want to work when they settle down.
A good family is an asset to the nation, as they are the rulers of tomorrow. None other than a homemaker shapes this great asset. Women should utilise their talent in many different channels for the reformation of society. Moreover, they can participate in social activities create awarness. Today, many people are there who have everything but need some therapies to combat loneliness.
As we know the future is in the constant threat of loneliness. According to survey, loneliness is 300 per cent up in the western world. It’s said that loneliness is as bad for health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. It’s worse than obesity.
So the point is here when parents leave behind their children in crush or in any other care centre. This is the time when kids need more care and caress. This is the age when their memories are stored for life time. So mothers and fathers should spare their quality time on growing children.
The downfall of humanity commences when family life is at stake and fail to play their part in their zone. That’s the reason, many traditional family and family values are under threat in many countries across the globe. Women need to get educated, not for replacing men in field jobs or green notes, but for fulfilling the post of their identity and self-honour.
Women are not for raising the economy but for raising a generation who will be the forerunners of the same. That’s the biggest achievement of their life when they can be able to provide the best nation for the future.
