JAMMU, Feb 20: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu today concluded the 16th batch of the ‘Nurturing Future Leadership Programme’ organized under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme of the Union Ministry of Education at its Jagti Campus.
The five-day intensive programme ended with a valedictory ceremony, marking the successful completion of training by 16 faculty members drawn from diverse institutions across the country.
The valedictory session was graced by Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, Prof Prashant Mishra, along with Programme Directors Dr Shivani Sachdev and Dr V Raj Kumar. Faculty members and officials of the Executive Education and Consultancy team were also present.
Addressing the participants, Prof Mishra underlined the importance of cross-learning through the exchange of diverse academic and institutional experiences. He described the initiative as a significant step by the Government of India towards strengthening leadership capacity and enhancing institutional effectiveness in higher education.
Dr V Raj Kumar presented a detailed report on the five-day programme, outlining its thematic focus, key sessions and the level of participant engagement. He urged the participants to reflect on their learning and translate it into actionable outcomes in their respective institutions.
During the ceremony, participants shared their experiences and key takeaways, appreciating the programme’s emphasis on experiential learning, case-based discussions, multidisciplinary approach and peer collaboration.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr Shivani Sachdev.
Certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of the successful completion of the training.
