JAMMU, Feb 22: The league matches of the Legend Masters 3.0 Inter-State T20 Championship featured thrilling performances as veteran cricketers displayed their skill and competitive spirit.
In the opening match, Veterans Cricket Association set a challenging total of 195/6 in 20 overs against Team Hyderabad. Vijay Dogra’s blistering 62 off 35 balls was the highlight, supported by solid contributions from Waseem Baba (24), Sunny (24) and Sameer Malik (19). In reply, Hyderabad Mavericks were bowled out for 109, with disciplined bowling sealing a comfortable victory for the Veterans.
In another match, Garuda Bengaluru was dismissed for 101 in 17.5 overs, with Suraj Bhomkar scoring 34. Andhra Veteran Cricket Association chased down the target comfortably, reaching 102/4 in 14.4 overs, thanks to R. Thata Babu’s unbeaten 51.
