JAMMU, Feb 22: Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander of the Northern Command, today visited the Air Movement Control Centre and Logistics Hub in Leh to review logistics arrangements for troops deployed in remote and high-altitude areas of Eastern Ladakh.
The visit focused on assessing the operational logistics framework that supports soldiers posted along the border in challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions.
During the visit, the Army Commander reviewed the facilities and infrastructure that ensure smooth supply chains, mobility and sustenance for troops.
He was briefed on air maintenance operations and the use of modern logistics systems to strengthen operational readiness.
He appreciated the personnel for adopting advanced material handling techniques in line with the needs of modern warfare and maintaining high standards of efficiency.
Lt Gen Sharma commended the dedication and professionalism of the troops working under difficult conditions.
He stressed that strong logistics support plays a vital role in enhancing combat preparedness and operational effectiveness of forces deployed in Eastern Ladakh, and urged all ranks to continue their committed service.
