CHENNAI, Feb 23: TVS Mobiltiy Private Ltd has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with crane and lifting solutions provider Austria headquarted PALFINGER to support by offering integrated supply chain, dealership, Aftermarket, rental and mobility solutions in India.
As part of the MoU, TVS Mobility Group and PALFINGER will jointly explore opportunities in the defence sector, combining PALFINGER’s specialised equipment technologies with TVS Mobility Group’s operational capabilities and domain expertise.
PALFINGER will invest Rs.350 crore in the first phase of its growth strategy 2030 in a manufacturing plant in Pune by calendar year 2027.
TVS Mobility Group will support PALFINGER’s India expansion by enabling supply chain readiness, market access and lifecycle support through its integrated ecosystem.
As PALFINGER establishes its Strategy 2030 plans to serve domestic and global markets, TVS Mobility Group will play a key role in enabling operational readiness, faster go-to-market and scalable lifecycle support.
The partnership brings together the Group’s integrated capabilities across supply chain, dealership and aftermarket services to support PALFINGER’s growth in India.
Through this collaboration, TVS Mobility Group will leverage the combined strengths (but with separate contractual arrangements) of TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), TVS Automobile Solutions (TVS ASL) and TVS Smart Mobility (TVS SM) to deliver end-to-end logistics, dealership, aftermarket and mobility solutions, enabling efficient market access, service readiness and long-term customer support.

According to Andreas Klauser, CEO, PALFINGER AG, by combining strengths, the company is expanding footprint, improving parts availability and service responsiveness, and building a scalable platform for sustainable growth.
