JAMMU, Feb 28: Dogra Degree College in collaboration with ICT Academy here today organized a seminar on ‘Employability Skills for the Future and Career Development’.
Speakers in the seminar underlined that effective communication skills and a strong foundation in professional ethics are crucial for sustained career growth.
The seminar featured eminent speakers including Dr. Ifra Nasir, Chief Secretary, GHRT and Panel Lawyer, DLSA Jammu, Dr. Anisa Nisar Jan, Executive Director, Varicose and More Pvt Ltd and Ajaz Yousuf, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy.
Dr. Ifra Nasir emphasized the importance of ethical conduct, effective communication, legal awareness and adaptability in today’s dynamic professional environment.
Dr. Anisa Nisar Jan shared valuable insights from her entrepreneurial journey, highlighting innovation, perseverance and continuous skill enhancement as essential elements for sustainable professional growth. Ajaz Yousuf outlined the role of ICT Academy in bridging the academia-industry gap through training initiatives, certification programmes and industry partnerships.
The event was organized under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Bela Thakur and the Organising Committee comprising of Rakesh Mohan Koul, Programme Incharge (BBA & B.Com) and IIC Convenor Amarpreet Kour.
