Israel-Iran War: CBSE Postpones Class X, XII Exams In Middle East Region

NEW DELHI, Mar 1: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday announced the postponement of Class X and Class XII examinations scheduled on March 2, 2026, in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, citing the current situation in parts of the Middle East. The new dates will be announced later.
“Students and schools are informed that due to the current situation in parts of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE), the Board has decided to postpone the Class X and Class XII examinations scheduled to be held on Monday, March 02, 2026, in the Middle East region,” said the Central board in a statement.
The Board will review the situation on Tuesday, March 3 and take appropriate decisions with regard to examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards.
