JAMMU, Mar 1: A large number of devotees here today visited Maha Lakshmi Mandir Pacca Danga to celebrate the 30th foundation day of Sarv Shakti Chandi Mata Mandir.
In this regard a Hawan was organised which started at 8 am and continued till 10 am. This was followed by Kirtan (recitation of devotional songs) from 1 pm to 8 pm at Maha Lakshmi Mandir Pacca Danga, Jammu. Click here to watch video
A Bhandara was also served among the devotees from 12 noon to 4 pm in the evening.
The organisers have put in place all the necessary arrangements for the visiting devotees.
The devotees along with their family members paid obeisance at the temple and prayed for peace and progress. A tight security arrangement was put in place by the Police around the temple to thwart and untoward incident on this occasion.
