RAJOURI, Mar 2: Prof Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, today visited various ongoing infrastructure development sites on the University campus to assess the progress of key projects aimed at strengthening residential and support facilities.
During the visit, Prof Iqbal inspected the upkeep and maintenance work of the Badminton Court at the Girls’ Hostel, construction of the new Hostel building, and the ongoing excavation work of the Dug Well intended for optimal and sustainable utilization of water resources on the campus.
He reviewed the pace and quality of the works and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials and executing agencies to ensure their timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Emphasizing the importance of robust infrastructure, the Vice Chancellor reiterated the University’s commitment to providing a conducive academic and residential environment for students.
The Vice Chancellor also appreciated the dedicated efforts of Registrar, Abhishek Sharma (IAS), for his effective supervision, administrative coordination, and continuous monitoring of the ongoing projects.
